Starting New Business
I am self employed and have been using Square for years to take payments. But now I am opening a brick and mortar business which I have registered as an LLC and I still plan to use Square for payments. My question is, do I need to or should I start a whole new Square account, or should I just change my info on the current one?

Hello @sbbhairco !
Congrats on getting your brick-and-mortar up and running! That's a big step and you should be proud! 🙂
Are you planning on still doing things outside the brick and mortar like you have been doing? If so, I would recommend setting up another location (Dashboard -> Account & Settings -> Business -> Locations) so you can see where all your sales are coming from.
If you're going 100% with the BnM, you can just adjust your items to fit what you need for the new store.
Hope this helps!

I am just going with the brick and mortar, but I guess I was wondering too if I needed a separate account for tax purposes. Since I usually use my Square reports for my taxes.

You can use the same business you have already set up and change your EIN on the Account & Settings -> Business -> Tax Forms -> Taxpayer Information section. I misread the LLC part in your initial post.
