Sorting by product and customer
I want to email all the people who bought a particular product. How do I pull up a list of customers that bought a product so I can market a better product?

Hello @dandan1906 thanks for your post. Unfortunately this isn't an easy search to do. The only way I can think of is to go into your Dashboard > Transactions, and do a search for a time period. Then change the card # drop down to ITEM.
Type in the item you want to search for, and you'll see a list of all the transactions that contained that item. You'll have to click each transaction and view the receipt details on the right side of the screen. Note that unless your customer's name are in your directory already, you may just see a generic CARD HOLDER or other non-identifiable "name" assigned to that transaction.
Also note that some Square customers limit what data/info that merchants can see; I often cannot see some email addresses unless that customer has explicitly signed up for my marketing program. Anytime you are emailing and marketing to your customers, please note that you'll need to follow some guidelines set forth by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).
Many program such as Mailchimp and Square Marketing have built in tools such as header/footer disclaimers and the ability for recipients to easily opt-out of receiving future communications. Using these tools makes it easier to maintain compliance with these rules. Square Marketing is the easiest way for busy sellers to drive store visits with email and Facebook marketing. If you haven’t started your free trial yet, you can do so, here.
