Searching invoices for a blank field

How can I search invoices for a blank field? As in an invoice where I didn't list what city the transaction occurred in.

Hi and welcome to the Seller Community! 👋

This would be considered a feature request at this time, @Rylan

I agree that it would be useful to have required fields when creating invoices or the ability to search for a blank field. I will make sure to pass this one over to our product team for their visibility.

Hi JJ - I'm also curious if there is a way to search a transaction (not invoice) by a blank field.  Specifically, the 'customer' field, so that we can go back and enter customer names where they were omitted when payment was taken.

Hey there @NPHS 👋

At this time the only way to accomplish this would be to export your transactions and look for the column called Customer name. The blank fields here would help you locate those transactions. Once you find it the best way to identify these and search for them in the dashboard would be by the last four digits of their card as the dashboard does offer a way to filter those numbers for you.

I hope this information is helpful.

I can also recommend that you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

P.S. Welcome to the Seller Community
