Revoking access to Square Team app for a specific employee

I allow my employees to clock in and out using the Square Teams app. The app works well, however I wish the app supported geo-fencing so that employees had to be physically onsite to clock in and out. I previously gave all of my employees access to the Square Teams app, however I have since realized that there are some employees I cannot trust and therefore need to revoke their Square Teams access. How do I revoke access to the Square Teams app for an employee who has previously used the app? When I attempt to access the employee's team member profile, their email address is grayed out.

Do you want to remove their profile entirely or just edit their access? If you just want to edit their permissions, you'll have to edit the role that is assigned to them by going to Square Dashboard > Teams > Permissions > Edit role

 

If you want the specific employee's permissions to be different, they will need to have a different role than the others. Is that alright?
