I attempted to select a free reader during registration, but it offered me the Chip reader and was not AT ALL clear that this option did not offer a Lightning Port option. So I selected the free mag reader, and it chose headphone jack anyway. So I had to quickly request cancellation of the order, and now I have no free reader at all because it never let me select a Lighting Port reader.
The whole process was a mess, and I'm seriously regretting even considering leaving PayPal now. Ugh, ,this was a frustrating mess. BE MORE TRANSPARENT SO WE DON'T HAVE TO GUESS and errors like this won't happen.
Now what? I tried the promo code it told me it used, but it's not valid. Help?

Hi there! Thank you for the detailed feedback and I'm sorry to read you had such a frustrating time with ordering your free reader. We will take your feedback seriously and look at how we can make this process better for others who had similar experiences.
In regards to your free reader, our Support teams are always able to send you a free one if you reach out over email or phone. You can contact them here: squ.re/contact and select Other > I don't see my issue.
Since this is as public forum, I cannot verify your address, but I have created a case for our support teams to reach out over email and get you set up with the free reader you were wanting.

So, now that I've not nearly as frustrated, I think I identified 3 areas you could improve to prevent this from happening:
