Refine to expired card

I recently sent a refund to an expired virtual SUA card that was declined.  my money has not kicked back to my account when I talk to Square they tells me that they have  sent the money to

my client but when I talk to my client they don’t have the refund . I was expecting my money to kick back into my Square account but I have yet to receive it has anybody had this issue?

The client probably needs to call the card company and talk to them about an issue. Have you advised them to call?
