Promo code/ discount code question

I followed the directions found on the help page and have a promo code activated.  But when I try to use it, testing the feature, it shows it as not working.  It displays the code I entered (which is the correct code) in red.  Anyone else having trouble with promo codes not working?

I have got the same problem. Very frustrating as I want to start the promo this weekend.

There are a few reasons that your promo codes may not be working, I'd be happy to help explain. 

 

  • If you have more that one location on your Square Account, you'll need to create the promo in your location specific Dashboard to use the code in your Online Store. 
  • You cannot create a promo code that takes 100% off of your sale, as you need to charge at least $1.00 to process an order in the Online Store.

i want a promo code that will look at buyer and if that buyer buys  three products in the same category in the same month the fourth one is free.

 

is there a fetaure that does this
