Currently if you are using a bar code scanner with the ipad register/stand and you scan an item that hasn't been put in the system, it will just show an alert with a "CODE NOT VALID". But if you aren't looking at the screen, and keep scanning, you actually aren't adding anything to the order. By the time you look back at the screen you have to stop and figure out what didn't scan, and it is very frustrating.
I just want some type of "audible" alert when this happens. I have searched and searched for a way to do this but haven't found one yet. Anybody know if this is possible?
