We are looking to use the SquareUp app to manage our appointments for landscape design. One potential issue is that we only offer this service to the surrounding towns. How can I screen a potential appointment to make sure they are within an appropriate distance of our business (i.e. prompt for zipcode)?

Hello @SG2017 welcome to the Seller Community!
This a great question. If you're using Square Appointments you will have the ability to review requested Appointments before they are officially booked. You can toggle this on in the settings section of Square Appointments. Although there is no section to enter an address for bookings.
I think I might have a work around for you. So your service descriptions will be displayed when a customer is making a selection for an appointment. You can add a note in the description requesting the customer to provide their address in the optional field of booking an appointment. So then you will be able to check if they're within your area and you have the option to decline the appointment request.
If you have any questions on how to set this please feel free to reply back! 😀

Is there an update to this? We now need to offer all of our services as mobile instead of at one of our locations, but need to limit the service area.
Thanks
