Hello All!
Our company relies heavily on accurate inventory, item categorization, and reporting. Has anyone come across a way to integrate Square + Wix's items and inventory. Preferably a way to use Square's inventory and items on our Wix website.
We already have Square set up as our payment provider. The issue is that our online sales are recorded as a "Custom Amount" and is uncategorized. This is an issue for us because it doesn't provide what item was sold, it only has the amount. This is basically useless to us haha
Any ideas other than manually changing things as orders come in?
Thank you!

Hey @SaraWCAC, welcome to the seller community!
Sorry for the frustration. I went to check for updates, but it sounds like the integration with your Wix site is in a similar situation as explained in this thread: Re-Categorizing Old Sales: Change "Custom Amount" to an Item for Reporting. You may need to reach out to the Wix team directly for a status update. Hope this helps get you in the right direction—let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi @SaraWCAC.
Did you get this resolved?
We're looking at possible using WIX instead of the Square Weebly website because the square online store isn't meeting our needs anymore. So that means we're in full research mode. Any feedback you have is much appreciated.

M, did you ever find a suitable replacement for "Weebly"? We're in the same predicament and cannot understand why Wix and Square do not have inventory integration already established...

We put off switching anything until January. We're hoping Square will make some of the upgrades and then we won't have to change anything.

Hello In Good Spirit.
We're currently looking at switching our website to Wix. For very similar pricing we would gain far more features with Wix than with Weebly / Square Online.
The inventory management thing is still a problem but we may just have to manually update the website inventory.
We've been massively procrastinating on switching because we don't want to do it but it seems that we've outgrown the capabilities of Weebly/Square Online. After two years of waiting for some of the features we need to launch, we may have no choice but to use a different website platform.

We've been waiting for over two years for SquareUp to improve the online store. Now, we're actively looking at other options because the online store seems to be getting worse instead of better.
We're looking at using Wix but the inventory won't sync between the Wix website and in-person sales via SquareUp. Have any of you using Wix tried using Sync Pinguin to solve this problem?

following....
It's becoming increasingly clear that Wix and Square have no interest in full integration. Unfortunately Weebly just doesn't cut it. This means if we want a better website, we will need to leave square as a POS too...
@Square Can anyone let us know when we will be able to fully modify our Weebly site? Or, can you let us know IF you are even working with WIX on a possible integration?
