Is there a way to disable emails to employees about Payroll?
Every day one of my employees is e-mailed with how much money they earned that day and the option to "cash out" a percentage of that.
They want the e-mails to stop, and honestly, I don't want them getting all of these "get paid now" emails. (I honestly think it is an awful habit to get into and I don't want my employees not getting a full paycheck on Friday)
How do I disable this feature? It is too similar to those paycheck advance places and I think they are just trashy.

Thanks for the support!!!
For anyone who was interested, square payroll has rolled out this new feature. It allows employee's to access some of their pay early to help balance their cash flow for that period. (For example, if the employee gets paid once a month but they have a surprise bill, they can access some of that paycheck early to help cover that expense)
I pay my employees weekly so it doesn't apply as much to my business, but I can see how this would be a good benefit for employees.
It is not like a paycheck advance place. It really isn't a loan and does not collect interest. There is a 1% fee for accessing the cash early. Compare that to the 266% interest on paycheck loans it is really nothing.
To disable this feature if you do not want it go to Payroll, Settings, Payroll Settings. Then there is a section titled On-demand Pay Benefits. There you will be able to disable this benefit.
Hope this helps other employers in the future!

I'm glad Square was able to help you out!
As a note, this is a feature test open a limited subset of sellers so it's not available to all sellers just yet. 🙂
