When I first setup up my Square inventory I created my scents as a Variation of the Size candle I sell. This is great for keeping track of which scents in certain sizes sell better. Now I am finding out that with 130 or so scents that I can only place 120 variations online through Square. Also I can not put an Image of the Variation or a different description of the Variation.
So now I am trying to move the Variations to an Item of a Category.
Old way was
Category - Scented Candles
Item was Size or type of candle
Variation would be the Scent
New Way
Category Size of Candle
Item will be the Scent
This way I can have a picture of each Candle and describe the scent and people can see the color and type or size with the picture.
So moving variations to an Item would be useful, I have been trying though excel spreadsheet but when I do it and import the changed file then I have the item doubled or am I missing something?
