Is there a membership card that can be used to check customers in like at a gym?

We are looking to add a small private gym to our business and we were wondering if there is a way to add a monthly recurring membership with a membership card that will allow them to check-in?

@tadams I know square has the subscription option now for billing.  As far as checking into the gym, from what I understand that is usually a little bit different.  Are you needing a way for the front desk to know who is in the gym or verify they are paid before they come in? or log their visits?

We have an integration with Square that automates discounts and benefits based on the rules that you configure.  For example you can create a membership which entitles the member to a discount.  You can offer physical cards as well which can be scanned to verify someone's membership.  Our software handles the subscription billing (via Square payments) and tracks and communicates the membership benefits with Square so that you don't have to do anything manually.
