You have the option to use the free Sync with Square app to connect your Square account to QuickBooks Online (not desktop). This page will walk you through the QuickBooks Online Sync with Square when you click Get Started. Learn more here.

Commerce Sync is different than the above - it's an eCommerce platform that will allow you to process payments with Square. You can check out the 15-day free trial, then pay $10 per month for each location using QuickBooks Online, or $19 per month for each location using QuickBooks Desktop.
