I would like to edit an invoice to include dates of service but it has already been paid

I have invoiced a package service. The invoice has been paid. I now want to go back and enter the dates of service.  

Can I do that?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to edit closed invoices.

You could use the Customers section for this though. You can find the customer you invoiced and add dates to the Notes section of their information. The customer won't see what you write here, so you'll still have to communicate with them about service dates, but at least it's somewhere to keep track of things.

This is something that needs to be added. If we are the creator of the invoice, we should be able to edit it. I have customers that order cakes in advance and will pay, but when the event comes closer they add on items, and I can't keep everything under one invoice. If the customer is asking for changes even if it is just editing changes or adding a tip after payment, we should be able to open and close the invoices on our end.
