We recently switched to using a Square Register instead of the iPad POS Stand. Previously, we would create custom sales reports for specific times of the day. For example, we would create a Sales Report for 6:50 am to 12:30 pm and then creates another Sales Report for 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. This allowed us the option of pulling tips from the register each time employees began or stopped working behind the register. Each time we created a custom sales report for those specific time periods they would be saved in the register and the next custom sales report we created would start from when our last custom sales report ended. However, now when we create a custom sales report for a specific time period on the Square Register, that custom sales report is not being saved on the register. This means we are losing the information for what time a custom sales report was started and ended, making it hard to pull tips for every time a new employee begins or stops working behind the register. Is there any way to save our custom reports on the Square Register or is that no longer an option?

Hi @TaylBooks, sorry for the confusion - I hope I can help clarify! The Sales report section was recently updated and while you can still create a custom report it won't be saved on your device anymore. This change applies to the iOS version of the app that you were using on your Square Stand, and to the Square Register. It sounds like you might have switched from one to the other around the time of the update! (We shared more details here: Improvements to Sales Reports in Square Point of Sale).
However, you can email a copy of the report to yourself from the app. From the Reports section, create your custom report and then tap the arrow in the very top right (the 'share' /inbox arrow).
And of course you can also access reports from your online Square Dashboard at anytime from a web browser.
