How does square access information attached to a card?
I have a client who is concerned about square accessing her information. She used her personal card (chip) to pay for her service and the receipt was sent to her work email, which she confirmed has no affiliation with her personal card. I do not have her work email or phone number on file, only her personal phone number, nor hasn’t she ever paid using a work card. How could square have collected her work email?

At some time, your customer charged something with a Square vendor and gave them her information. Once she did that, her information will be accessed at any other Square business when she charges using the same card. I know, it seemed a little creepy to me at first too - I thought our customers might object, but none have yet.
