Hello @Mt142165 ! Assuming your account has been verified by Square, there are a few ways to get your funds:

  • The default is to have your transfers sent on your preferred schedule. You can set this schedule on your dashboard under Transfers -> Settings. By default your funds will be transferred by 8pm PST every day but Friday and Saturday. (Those will be sent with your Sunday transfers Sunday night). Depending on how long your bank holds the funds, you'll have access to them the next day or a day later.
  • You can also set up Same Day transfers, where your deposit is immediately sent to a debit card on file for a 1% extra fee at the close of business daily.
  • You can also set up Instant Transfers, where your deposit is immediately sent to a debit card on file for a 1% extra fee whenever you hit the Transfer Now button in your app or on the dashboard.
  • You can also have a Square Card, where your balance is held at Square and you access it through a custom MasterCard. If you want to transfer funds to your bank, you'll need to manually transfer them from your dashboard.

If your account isn't verified yet, there may be a hold on your funds. Once Square determines your business is legit, you'll get all your funds on the usual transfer schedule.

Hope this helps!

Other than an actual bank account (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, etc) which I don't have or seem to be able to open. There's no way to receive or get funds when I use the POS for charges? As you know I can't link my PayPal so what other options do I have?

Hello and welcome to the Seller Community, @wholehogz 👋

I've moved your post over here because @ryanwanner has listed out the different ways that you can access your funds in this thread. I would recommend taking a look at the Square Card, because it sounds like that's going to be the best option for you.

I don't believe this was answered.

My account is set to Manual Transfer. This is ok, but I'd like to have the money in my account and I can't figure out how to do this. Why is Transfers hidden. Or, Why can't i move the money to my account. I litterally have a page that say, you have XXXXXX but it won't let me actually transfer it WTF?

Hey @craftnotes

Even setting your account to manual transfer should still let you transfer funds as you like.

From your web dashboard, go to the Balance page.

If you do not have a Square Card, you should see a page that looks like this:

nosqcard.jpg

If you are using the Square Card, you should see a screen that looks like this:

sqcard.jpg

Transferring funds manually is just the matter of clicking on the Transfer Instantly button (no card) or the Transfer Out link (with card).

If those buttons aren't available, check that your bank account is entered correctly on the Bank Accounts page (Account & Settings -> Account -> Bank Accounts). If you've just entered the banking information here, please note that it can take from 1 hour to 4 business days to verify your bank account. Once the account is verified, your transfer buttons should work.

If none of this applies, I definitely recommend calling into support (use the link in my signature below). They can dig into your account a lot deeper than we can in a public forum.

Hope this helps!
