How do I create a recurring donation option?

I need to create a donation item, with options for the user to choose a custom amount, and the option to make the donation recurring. 

All the instructions I find here do not seem to be accurate. For example, they all talk about an "advanced options" setting, where I can supposedly click the "recurring" toggle, but I can’t find that toggle. 

I DO NOT have an online store. 

I already have a donation item, which worked before, but the custom amount option has disappeared, and I don’t know how to make it recurring.

Hey @mikesclub 

So once you log into Square via the web, you can choose "online checkout" on the left side. 

On the next screen, choose to create a link in the upper right hand corner, followed by accept a donation from the pop up. 

Once you enter in the title and description for the donation, click on the advanced settings, it should be located right under the add image ( see screen shot below) 

There will be a toggle to turn on recurring donations, tun that on, and select your frequency  Let us know if this helps.
