If you go to the Sales Summary part of your Dashboard, you can pull up an entire month's worth of sales and check the Fees line item toward the bottom. https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/reports/sales-summary
You could also pull up the whole year and choose Monthly instead of Summary from the dropdown to get each month's sales and fees pulled out separately.

Is there a way to break down the fees by item?
Example:
March Summary
Milk, Gross Sales = 10.00, Fees Collected = 0.13
Bread, Gross Sales = 5.00, Fees Collected = 0.45

@ohiogoldfrg - None of our reports currently offer this granular of reporting on fees. You could consider exporting the .CSV and manipulating the data in a spreadsheet application. Excel, Numbers, or Quickbooks would easily be able to help you find this information.

I have a Sales Summary Square report from 2016 that shows the fees collected from each item. Have you removed this level of granularity for some reason?
It would be very useful for tax purposes.

Hey @Brian66 - If you export your transactions list from your online Dashboard, there is a Fee column that shows how much was deducted from each transaction, but not each item. Is that what you were looking for?

I got the fees per item last month, but I am not seeing what you mean by it being on the transactions list. Is it still there?

Hello @thehappylyon, yes you can still view fees for each transaction from the Transactions CSV:
- Sign in to your online Square Dashboard > navigate to Transactions.
- Edit the date range to see transactions in a specific time.
- Click Export in the upper right.
- Select Transactions CSV.
The Transactions CSV is a list of all your payments in a particular timeframe. When you open the report you'll need to scroll to the right and there's a column called 'Fees'.

I need to be able to generate a Monthly statement as I would with a bank account.
All the reports I can find all seems to be incomplete.

Yes we should not have to poke around and create custom reports to try to achieve a simple monthly report. Square is like a bank and we should have monthly statement like we do at the bank.
I'm also very frustrated with square.
