How can I adjust inventory when something was sold?

One of my employees couldn't find an item in the inventory when she was ringing someone up so she just put in a custom amount.  How can I fix my inventory since I didn't lose that item based off of the options?  I want to make sure it is reduced correctly to accurately reflect that this particular item was sold.

Hi @spruce123. First, you can refund that sale so that your books are accurate. 

 

As far as inventory goes, the POS app doesn't automatically adjust inventory when a refund is done. You'll have to manually go in and adjust it.
