Emailing Customer about Events they Purchased

I recently started using square to sell tickets to events. As the event nears and details are confirmed, I need to contact these buyers. However, their email is NOT showing in the Directory. I know email is required to purchase in the online form. I really like the platform, but, if I cannot send updates to customers then I cannot use square for payments.

 

My question is how do I follow up with these buyers, and why would the email be missing. I am not looking to send marketing, I am simply trying to send details about an event they have already purchased. Thanks in advance.

Hi. Most of Square's stuff should easily save the Customer's email and keep it in your Dashboard. I guess technically you'd have to look in there or export the emails somehow to be able to email them from your preferred email account/application. 

 

If you're looking for something a little more automated, we already have website and mobile app solutions (powered by Square - we're an official Square Partner company) that send out the Event Details instantly in an email after purchase. Plus, we can easily add an automated reminder that sends another email or a text message or push notification as the Event Date gets closer. Easy stuff.

So we'd essentially put Events where the Products are and WooCommerce already has a date feature for Events....and this basic installation of Woo keeps everything in the Customer's Account and in your Admin Account so you can see everything. And, you can easily send Customer's messages right from inside the WooCommerce Admin Dashboard (inside the Wordpress Admin Dashboard).

 

Again, easy stuff. Our Apps of course are way cooler. We have QR-Codes for instant scannable check-in. Manual check-in buttons. Attendee-lists - you name it. A famous client wanted us to recreate Ticketmaster last year, so we did and then when we made our Square-powered App Solution/Service, we added the Event feature to make it even cooler!
