Can I use a different card system with the square stand? I have Pay low currently.

I currently have paylo card system at my cafe and I wanted to use the square stand. Is the paylo card system compatible with the square stand?

the Square stand is designed to work with the Square POS app, and will not work with other iPad based apps that I have seen.  Square is a credit card processor.
