Accruing Points in Loyalty Program
I just set up a Loyalty Program on my system. I have it so if you spend 50 dollars you earn a point and once you earn 5 points you get a coupon for 20% off your purchase. My question is, if customers don't spend 50 dollars...does it keep adding up between multiple visits until they spend 50 dollars or more and then reward with a point or does it have to be 50 dollars in one transaction only? A lot of my customers spend around 20-25 dollars and they are wondering if the purchase totals accumulate to eventually get to 50 after maybe 2-3 visits.

Hey @Dimetera
Congrats on taking the leap to Loyalty! We’ve been on it for two years now and absolutely love it!
The dollar spend threshold only happens in a single transaction.
But luckily there’s an easy work around - you can drop your threshold and increase the points needed to get a reward.
So maybe drop the threshold to $25 -> 1 point. And 10 points to a reward?
I’d be more than happy to talk through more ideas too!
Hope this helps,
Pesso
