I cannot fix the issue " Our store is not currently accepting orders"

My toggle is on.

I've turned it off and on and published the website again.

It's still not working.

This usually isn’t the main site toggle, even when it looks like it should be.

When you see “Our store is not currently accepting orders” with the site published, it’s almost always caused by fulfillment or payment settings blocking checkout, not visibility.

A few quick things to check:

  • Make sure at least one fulfillment method (shipping or pickup) is active and assigned to items
  • Confirm your pickup location hours aren’t set to closed
  • Check Payments → Settings to be sure no payment methods are paused
  • If you recently edited locations, try turning the site off → wait 5–10 min → on again

I’ve seen this pop up after pickup/location changes even though the toggle says “on.” You’re not missing anything obvious — it’s a sync issue more than a user error.

I have been having the same issue. I didn't change anything and it was work with no issues now it keeps saying "Our store is not currently accepting orders." online shopping should be 24hrs and I have checked everything yet after 6-7pm I quits taking orders.

@thisboycancook - I hope by now you’ve gotten this resolved however I have had this happen countless times. In my case what I have found is that my business address in the Square fulfillment section requires reconfirmation.

it’s not that my address or anything else changes, however randomly the system decides that I need to cycle through my address details and except my [same] address without making any changes.

This happens many times a year although I can’t really say how often. I’m never notified in any way other than through customers mentioning it to me or through my casually surfing my own website. Luckily my store is primarily brick and mortar and the website is just secondary.
