how to choose a hotspot (not on phone)

I will be doing some outdoor markets this summer and I have a square terminal that I would like to use. Unfortunately for wifi connection I cannot use my phone as it does not have a hotspot built in, and my data plan does not support one anyway. What would be some suggestions for a mobile hotspot? Is that the best way to go? Also, just an fyi, I don't like to use my phone with the reader attached - my hands are clumsy and this is often difficult for me.

Will you just be using it for outdoor markets? If so I have just ordered this Globlinker I haven't received it yet, but it's pay as you go internet with no monthly fee. They give you 2G of data each month and you can stack it, so if you don't you use one month it will roll over. They are are giving 10Gb of data right now just for ordering the hotspot. If you are just going to use for Square on your terminal 2Gb should be more than enough.

Update, I received the Globlinker today, it took about 10 mins to get it setup and get the free 10Gb of data. Also if you join their facebook page there is a thread where you can DM them your serial number and they will give you 4GB of extra data.  This uses  cloudSim technology instead of eSIM, this allows you to jump from carrier to carrier depending on which signal is the strongest in the area you are working
