BUG REPORT: Broken Select Box Costing Me Customers

When looking at a product on my site, the select box shows all variations in gray on gray until an item is selected and the screen refreshes.

 

My customers are (as I believe most reasonable people would) interpreting this as either my product is out of stock or I have no inventory.  They have told me this in person as I know many of them personally.  This bug has caused paying customers who wanted my product to not purchase.  

 

The select is broken upon page load.  Below is a screen shot of the bug with the inspector open that shows the problem in the stack dump.

Please let me know when this bug can be resolved.  I have a small specialty yarn business and I can't continue with a web site that everyone thinks never has any stock!

Hi @tracywolfpastry! Really appreciate you joining the Seller Community and bringing this up.

 

I ran this by one of our Square Online specialists and from what I gathered, it sounds like that's the way it's supposed to look. Although I can see how that is confusing for customers because it even made me do a double take.

 

You can reach out to our CS team for additional confirmation. If they confirm with engineering that this is the way it truly is supposed to look, they can go on to file a feature request for you.
