Feature Request: Add Terms and Conditions Checkbox for Online Bookings

I need help to add a check box 'I agree to the Terms and conditions' to square online website before my client click on the "Book an appointment" button.

I tried to use the check box button from "Contact Form", but I could not able to add the Square appointment link to the Submit button.

Is there embeded coded for "I Agree Checkbox"? or any other workaround?

Hey, @lara5, just jumping in here for @Arie while they're out of the office.

You're completely right here, the pop-up is separate from your online booking flow. At this stage, the only other option we could recommend would be to send digital customer contracts with Square Appointments.

It's important to note that unless you are subscribed to Square Appointments Premium, you will need to manually send digital contracts via the Contracts page of your online Square Dashboard.

Unfortunately, I don't have any further news to share regarding the feature to include a Terms and Conditions Checkbox for online bookings.

The workarounds we're able to provide have been included in my above message. I suggest having a read of those options as a starting point.

We are in desperate need of a Terms and Conditions checkbox on our booking flow. We have Square Appointments Premium for our Cricket Coaching and facility hire business. All we need is a checkbox on the payment page, with a link to our url where we have our Terms and Conditions on our website.

Please let us know if this gets added, it is needed for public liability risk mitigation and insurances. It works well on our Wix website via Form Builder if that is any help 🙂

I also need a terms & conditions checkbox so clients can tick to say they have read and understood our T&Cs before booking into an event. 
Are there any developments on this request?? Seems the thread goes back a long way, currently in April 2023….

While we don't have an update on checkboxes for Square Appointments, @Laurie_ shared a workaround in this thread you might find useful. You can attach digital contracts to appointments for your and your customer's piece of mind. Learn more here.

This is my work around for wanting/needing a check box for agreeing to license terms - posting in case it helps anyone else.

In the items section, I added a modifier which is required to be filled, and the checkbox option (you could also do for the text box) - and titled it 'do you agree to the terms and conditions?' and only option is YES.

I then chose to provide a link in the descriptions section of the item, to the terms (as the actual textbox is way too narrow and looks bad with too much content) - good luck!
