[Improved] Brand Editor

We’ve recently created a new configuration tool that allows you to choose your brand preferences, preview them across surfaces, and seamlessly update them across multiple locations. We are initially launching this centralized Brand Editor with previews of Receipts and X2 POS Buyer Display, but will expand to other products like Invoices, Appointments, Loyalty, and more early in 2025.

What’s new?

Now you can add your brand’s colours and logo to Receipts and POS from a centralised Brand Editor. Simply add your branding, preview and adjust it, and apply it to your choice of locations.

How do I access the Brand Editor?

Settings > Business information > About my business > Apply branding

*This update is gradually being rolled out, so please be patient if you don’t yet have access.

Do you know when this will be rolled out to all users, including those on Restaurant Plus?

We use Loyalty and it's brand customisation is limited, lack of ability to change the square logo to our own business, use of custom fonts etc would be great.

Hey there - thanks for the question! This update should be available to all users now. You can check it out in your seller Dashboard by going to Account & Settings > My business > About and clicking the button to create or edit an existing brand.

Once in the brand editor, if you click on Point of Sale, you should be given the option to upload an image that will appear on your buyer displays (Square Register). Today the customization options include a color, small logo, large logo, and the point of sale image. 

Fonts are a great idea! We'd love to hear other ways you'd like to customize the experience to better express your brand!

Has this affected the customer screen on the X2?  

Just set one up again and I'm sure I used to be able to have a slide show or something before, but now it's just the one image.
