This is an old post and, hopefully, you have solved your problem by now 
But for those who struggle with the same issue, as I have in the past, - CALL them. It may take you an hour to get through the technical support but they can restore your previous version from the backup if you call them fast enough and know when the last copy was correct.
It is too bad that they don't even have a standard warning like ANY other software will post when you try to delete ANYTHING - like a confirmation message "You are about to delete your site <name>...Are you sure?"
Seems to be simple enough and could avoid many heartaches and wasted time ...but unfortunately, they do not allow for such a simple courtesy
