Thanks for the extra info, @INHI2018. I did notice that the page loads slower in the editor; because of how apps make the page re-render after making a change, that would definitely make it take longer editing that page. If you reduce the number of app elements on the page it should help. Perhaps you could combine your tabs apps into a single element with multiple items?

Hi @INHI2018 Is it only the page with the app that is loading slow? Can you confirm the page name and website, please?

@Bernadette Sure, the website is kvraoinsu.weebly.com and the page is premiums and INF Plans. I had to fill out the tables for the premiums page in INF Plans because premiums is the one that is crashing in the editor. Online the site works fine. Please let me know if you can find outt what's going on

H Adam, thanks for letting me know about the issue. I need to find a more creative way to display all these premiums

I wouldn't exactly call that 'solved.' We really need bulk editing capabilities, but Weebly's need for unique identities isn't helping.

The Apps have nothing to do with Weebly Editor loading so slow. I have had the same problem with Weebly editor loading slow and when checked on speed testing sites such as Pingdom and GSpeed and it is not my website apps slowing down the website or the Weebly Editor, it is actually Weebly codes and applications that website owners can NOT change, which are slowing down our sites.

Weebly's speed is torturous. It's been like this ever since I started which is now more than a few years. I have never seen the speed improve. It was slow before, and it remains slow. Really slow, beyond slow; torturous.

Hi @Lisa46360 Can you confirm the name of the site and the specific (if any) page that is loading slow for you?

The website editor is sooooooooooooooo slow, I can't get anything done. It auto-saves for at least 10 seconds after EVERY key stroke!!! Typing a sentence is beyond painful! Even changing a price takes about a minute per item. Ridiculous! I would very much apprectiat any help. Site: https://ihsbbc.square.site/

Can you try logging out, clearing your browser cookies and cache for Weebly.com and restarting your computer, @ihsbbc? That might help speed it up for you.

I don't see anything that could be causing the lag, although, you do seem quite far from our servers. Can you please try opening the editor in a new browser in private/incognito mode? Or clear your cache/cookies to see if that helps with the loading?

Hi,

I am also finding it incredibly difficult to use the editor at the moment. I have to reload after every item I add. I'm wondering if I have something on my site that is causing it. Could you check it out? www.stpatrickscomprehensive.ie

Thanks.

Which page are you editing? It looks like you have a lot of content on the home page and possibly some third party apps/code? If you add a brand new page and start editing, do you have the same lag?

It's the homepage I am editing. I will try removing content and see if that works.
Thanks for your help.

You're welcome. You can always move content to a different page by hovering over the section and clicking the arrow in the top left corner. Smiley Happy

I tried several things, then switched from Chrome to Firefox. Instantly, it started working like normal. Best thing I've done all day.

I am absoutely fed up with weebly in chrome and edge running so slow. Its impossible to use and I can see from the comments in this community people have been struggling for a long time with this issue.

I am taking my website elsewhere.

Same there really is no other answer to the problem but to leave. I started at Wordpress and these problems don't exist. This has been going on for the last month and now I see it's been going on for years.
