Just transfered my site but notice pages returning 404 error on Google search as old pages were .htm where new ones .html. Is there an easy fix for this?

Welcome to the Community, @Jimpi - thanks for making your first post.
You'll want to set up 301 redirects of any pages, that way Google can follow those and update its search cache of your site.
