How do I resend an invitation to a team member? No options

How do I resend an invitation to a team member? I read all of the other responses, and no matter what I have tried I don’t have the option to resend.

Hello, @KristiG and welcome back to the Square Community! I see it's been a few years since your last post. I'm happy to help you with resending the invitation to your team member.

Firstly, is the team member currently active or inactive? If they are inactive, or their invite has expired, you should see an option to resend the invite by going to the Team Member section of your Square Dashboard, and then clicking on the team member's name. Then, you should see a message with a link to resend the invitation that looks like this:

If you still don't see this on your end, please send me a screenshot of what you're seeing instead, and I can take a look. Just be sure to censor any personal information like name, email address, and phone number.

Hi. Sorry for the delay. She is currently active and she doesn’t have a Gmail account. She initially accepted it but no longer has access to it.

Hi! @Violet

Neither of those options worked for me. She doesn’t have a Gmail account, so I can’t change it and she doesn’t have a second email address. Is there anything else I can do?

I had this happen to me once and had to create a new team member for the same person and ask them for a different email to use - they kept insisting they weren't getting it and eventually the option to resend was removed. I have been able to use the info above from @_Violet every other time this has happened. This was also several years ago and the resend option was a little different then than the text above.

My fix for this was to change their email (if they don't have a second one) this way: change [email protected] to [email protected] . adding the dot doesn't change delivery (in my experience) but tricks square into thinking it's a different email. they just have to remember to use that. Or, once they're in change it back to the original one.
