Can't find the option to resent an invitation to a new employee

I signed up a new employee and sent her the invite. When she tried to use it, it said it was unavailable and that her employer needs to send a new one. Problem is, I don't have that option. I've looked everywhere the help articles told me to look, I've looked in all the places it shouldn't have been, and I just don't have a resend option. Help?

@lkhollister When you click on your new employee in the team list in Square Dashboard, you should see a yellow banner that says “Resend invitation.” Do you see that on your end?

I have this same question. I do see the resend invite and I send it but when the employee attempts to login it asks for a password which they have not yet had the opportunity to set up and then when they attempt a "forgot password" refuses because they email is already linked to an account which they have but have not even accessed for the first time. What do we do?

Sharing here publicly in case helpful to others:


That team member has an existing Square account tied to that email, so when she goes to accept the invite, it's asking her to login into the existing Square account for that email.

If she doesn't know the password, she can use the forgot password flow. The issue she's probably running into when she does that from the email invite is the email is "masked" (probably looks like r***@acme.com).  This is a security thing, but it's messing with the forgot password flow.  So she should just type her full email address in, and she'll get the forgot password email.

 

Sorry this is a bit confusing. I've passed along to the team to see if we can fix the issue with the masking. This is sort of specific to team members that have an existing Square account and are trying to login, and then need to reset password, but definitely confusing if you're in that case.
