I want to sellect a Badge for "New" items. How to create a new Badge?

I would like to flag new items added to the site with a badge tag that says "New Item".  I would like to turn this on by the item.  Not general sock items that I add every now and then.  Any ideas on how to do this?  I don't see under badge a way to add anything.

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community! It’s great to have you here. 

While it is possible to customise the design of your badges, they are pre-defined, so you won’t see badges on your website unless you have at least one item that either:

• Has a sale price

• Has an inventory count of your specified quantity or less

• Is sold out

• Is available for preorder

• Is discounted

I can see why being able to highlight newly added items with a badge would be useful, so I’d encourage you to add the idea to our feature request board. Our product developers regularly review the feature request boards, with a view to improving the product for our Sellers.

I totally agree this is needed. The existing badges are lame and not very marketing oriented. I would love to upvote your feature suggestion but the feature request board interface is so bad, I can't find it 😞

If you are ever wanting to find a post by a fellow Seller, you can click on their profile and it will show all of the posts they have interacted on or made!
