Appointments sign in - checkout problems

I'm in the process of setting up Square Appointments for my new business. When testing it out, it works great unless I choose to 'sign in' during the check out process (eg pretending if I was a returning customer). If I don't sign in then it lets me book the appointment I had selected no problem, however if I choose to sign in, after I've signed in it returns me to the start of the appointments page rather than continuing the check out process for the appointment I had selected. Nowhere can I see it in a basket etc so that I can continue to checkout. If I try to go back through the process once signed in, selecting the same appointment that I wanted initially, then it's not showing as available (as it's holding it for ten minutes for me). Help! Am I doing something wrong or missing something obvious? Thanks 😊

 

Edited to add - it seems to work fine on desktop, it's only on mobile phone browsers that it seems to be an issue.

 

Edited again - solved it! I was using Brave as my phone browser and I tried it in chrome and it was fine. I think it just didn't like Brave.

Hi @LHPhotos, thanks for posting and welcome to the Community 👋.

 

I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve this ! I suggest using a supported browser in the future, such as Chrome or Safari. 

 

On a side note, the hold is an expected behavior. We currently reserve the time slot for 10 mins after a buyer clicks on the time slot. If your customer leaves the website for some reasons, they won't be able to book the slot for another 10mn.
