Hello y’all. We are currently using the standard square pos for our register. But our restaurant is growing. We wanted to look into using square for restaurants. We wanted to see if we liked it before we implemented it in our restaurant and more importantly made any changes that would affect the square register. We want to be sure of our decision before we make our employees learn the new system.
Now the question is: Is there a way to go into the square restaurants and play around and not change our current set up? Or does it immediately change once you select square for restaurants.
Also, for other restauranteurs, have you made the change and did you like it. We have a fast casual restaurant. You order your food at the stand and we call your number and you pick up at the counter. No need for numbering tables or having waiters.
