Auto-Complete Custom Field on Payment Links

Hello Everyone,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently using my website to sell products and have integrated a "Payment Link" with a Buy Button. At the moment, I ask my customers to manually enter the "item code" in the "Custom Field" during the checkout process.

To streamline this experience, I would like to explore the possibility of having the payment link automatically populate the Custom Field for my customers. See image below.

For example, it could work like this:

hxxps://square.link/u/ABDC123 + custom field auto-complete

hxxps://square.link/u/ABDC123?customfield=Item_One

Implementing this feature would greatly enhance the user experience and reduce any potential confusion.

This is a great suggestion. I can definitely see how this can be helpful. I am not sure if you are familiar with our Feature Requests on our Ideate platform, but it is a great way to drop any ideas, suggestions, or improvements to Square products or tools in a public forum that product managers occasionally review. I am going to go ahead and move your post over here.
