Had a call from someone saying that they were my personal contact for square if I had any questions I should go through them? Is this something new?

Do you have an account rep @maxey74 ?   If so, I would reach out to them to verify, but this seems a bit suspect to me.  Tread carefully until you can verify they are with Square, maybe via their email address, which I believe should be from squareup.com or maybe block.xyz at least.
