We are new to square and need to set up Birthday Parties

We have 3 time slots on Saturday, 2 on Sunday

We need to take a deposit when they book the party

I need some help setting this up the right way and Square support has not been great at helping me with this

Does anyone know the steps for doing this and can help?

We take a deposit on a square gift card.  Then when the party happens, we bring up the party and do a split charge with the deposit as the first payment off of the square gift card and then take the remaining balance from the customer.  We have been doing this successfully for over 11 years now and it works great.

We have been using Square Appointments for several years. We require pre-payment for our daily services. 

For parties, we usually use Invoices. This helps you track payments throughout the process.
