You made it! Welcome to Square’s togetHER community 🙌

Our purpose is for you to find connection, advice, encouragement, and community with fellow women in business and allies. This community is built for and by you, so make it your own.

First step: Introduce yourself in this thread! We want to get to know each and everyone one of you here. Stuck on how you should introduce yourself to other lady bosses? Here are some things to cover: Tell us who you are, what you’re working on and what type of business you own. If you have an online store, feel free to share with the group!

Our guiding principles

We all want productive, friendly conversation propelling us forward. Keep these in mind when posting:

Share actionable information/material. We want this group to provide advice and actions that you can implement immediately to improve your business. Give context when asking questions and be detailed in your responses. Post about the difficult things so we can figure out an answer together as a community.
Assume good intent. Tone on the internet is very difficult to convey. Let’s assume that everyone posting here comes from a place of good intention, so we can do the same. If anything feels amiss, please report it to our moderators.
Treat your fellow sellers with respect. We all come from different backgrounds and may not always agree with one another, but we can always treat each other with respect. We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment or abuse of sellers or moderators because this should be a happy place on the internet.
No spam or excessive self promotion. We’ve all seen those groups with the same people posting the same thing every single day. Let’s respect each other’s time and refrain from this type of excessive self promotion. But, by all means, when it’s time to celebrate you, shout that accomplishment from the rooftops!

Hi everyone 👋 I'm Katie one of the Seller Community admins. I'm excited to introduce myself to you all and see the conversation that takes place here.

I'm originally from the Bay Area, but lived a few years on the East Coast (those winters were so cold!). I love dogs, chocolate, and traveling. I've worked fostering community engagement for a few years and been at Square for a little more than a year.

Can't wait to meet you all 😀

Hello! I'm Helen , I'm a Community moderator for the Square Seller Community. I've been working at Square for a couple of years and I'm delighted to be part of the togetHER group. 🙂

I'm interested to learn how togetHER members use Square for their business and what resources they'd like to access from this group. I'll keep an eye out for your thoughts!

Hi all. My name is Jessica and I'm originally from southern California but live now in rural north eastern south dakota. Up here is where I met my now hubby. We have 4 fur babies. 2 dogs and 2 cats. We are both disabled. So to help with expenses disability doesnt cover I turned to my crafting skills. I make one of a kind bead jewelry in many styles from gemstone to the tiniest of seed beads. I also now make diffuser jewelry for the big move to natural remedies of essential oil use. I do also make a few roller blend essential oils. That's just fun though lol. Being in rural area its challenging but it's nice here as well. This new community sounds like it could become an awesome place to chat and such.Mr. Pebbles

Thanks for the invite! My name Is Betty . I am a Designer of custom made women fashions and a few other crafty items. My company is Dovely Designs. I live in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I am currently preparing for a fashion show for next month April 28. "A Nigbt of Fashions" I am one of 8 Designers showing a 10 piece collection in the show.

Hi girl gang! So excited to join our forces! Women can do anything, especially when we support each other. I am Nancy and I own Sugar Mamma Caramels in San Diego, CA. I have been in business for 6 years specializing in handcrafted, all natural caramels in 17 flavors. I am a mom of 2 beautiful girls, I was born In New York , but been a California girl for most of my life. I love to cook and eat and drink Champagne!

Hi! My name is Kathy, and I run Horse 'n' Round Studio, purveyor of fiber arts and chainmail armor. I have sheep of my own and sell fleeces, roving, and yarn from my own and other local shepherds (sheep, goats, alpaca), and work to educate people on the benefits of natural fibers and real animal husbandry, both modern and historical. I also create finished fiber wearables, both ready-made and on commission, teach, host craft nights, and sell at various events around the Pacific Northwest.

In my "free" time (ha-ha-ha), I'm a freelance editor, proofreader, closed-captioner, and transcriptionist.

Hi, I'm Tana! I live in Sacramento, CA. I create rustic home decor and primitive dolls, often using worn out antique quilts in the process.

I mostly sell on Etsy (and also eBay and Amazon Handmade); my shop name is PrairiePrimitives on all of these sites (my official biz name is Prairie Primitives Folk Art). I also do about 8 craft fairs & vintage markets each year ... and that's where I use Square. I bought my 1st smartphone in 2009 so that I could use Square! ♥

Hi,

I am Jen and I am an outpatient PT who embraces a diverse and whole body approach with clients. Function and enjoying a passionate life are an integral part of my practice. I use a variety of treatment techniques to assist a client in reaching their goals. Pain science is an area of specialization along with Functional Manual Therapy. Pain Science is educating and empowering clients through knowledge and active strategies to make a change, improve function, and enjoy life. Health and Wellness Coaching is another skill I use to help clients be their best selves.

I have a very small private practice and 3 kids who keep me busy. Looking forward to connecting.

I prefer to tell narrative (fictional) stories, although I do work with agencies for promo videos and musicians for music videos. I'm currently building a platform around my forthcoming TV show, Of Music and Men, where I've produced novellas, a short film, and have plans for some other aspects of media! Thanks for asking.
