How to disable checkout permission for team member?

I’m trying to edit permissions for a team member but unable to untoggle the checkout permission. It’s greyed out and checked ☑️ but can’t figure out what to do to be able to uncheck it.

Welcome to the Community!

You can completely untoggle the "Checkout" permission, though access to take itemized payments and add customers to a sales transaction cannot be disabled at this time. You can, however, uncheck the other available options under "Checkout." Please see the image below for reference.

@Lilylash22 -- Checkout permissions (if not provided virtual terminal access) only applies to shared point of sale. So while these can't be toggled, if you're okay with removing access to all of the shared point of sale, you can remove access to that and this permission will not be applicable anymore

To remove access to shared point of sale -- click continue after the permissions screen and untoggle "Shared point of sale"
