thread New York State - Secure State Savings Program in Staff & Payroll

As a NY State employer, I just learned that NY passed a law requiring businesses that don't over a retirement savings plan to register with the NY State Secure Savings Program and offer it to eligible employees.

Does Square have any plans to offer integration with this NY State plan? In searching through the forum I see this same question was asked 2 years ago regarding California and at that time there was no integration. I'm not required to offer this until May, but I'm trying to get an understanding of what I'll need to do, and if I should consider switching payroll providers. I don't want to have to administer this program manually.

Hi, @CindyX !

I am going to reach out to our payroll team to see what they have to say. I am not too knowledgable about this program so I want to make sure I get all of the correct info.
