Trying to fetch W4 from my employees

Hi. For immigration purposes I need to send all W4 forms filled by my employees. I understand I can take a screenshot from my laptop, but the issue is their SSNs are private. Is there a way I can reveal them so I can send that info to the USCIS? Thank you in advance!

@cmcela I don’t know a way to reveal those to take a screen shot of them, but I do know a work around as long as you don’t mind printing another page for each employee in question

From your dashboard, to to Payroll -> Tax Forms. In the search box for that list, type NHR — which stands for New Hire Report which most if not all states require these days. Then press the download button to the right of every employee you need to print, which will bring up a screen you can print that includes the full social security number that they entered when they were hired.

Also, yes, it would be a good thing to have, and that would be worth sending a Feature Request to Square. Explain the issue, and how having a quick “reveal SSN” button would be great on the employee information screens we already have. Once you send the request Square will review it and let you know their decision.

I still can’t view the w4 even when going to employee > taxes

You can access all your tax forms directly from your Square Dashboard here.

If you don't see a W-4, it could indicate that the form was filled out.
