Can i turn off the ability to clock in and out from employee's payroll app? I have a couple of employees clocking in several hours after leaving work. We don't have remote employees.

You are also able to go into your team setting through the square dashboard and you can disable clicking in and out through the app. It may be under permissions. I will clarify.

To clarify, you do need to be in the online dashboard.
you’ll go to your left side drop menu and to shifts. Then settings, then click In/Out and you will see the toggle button for turning off the ability to clock out in the team app.

be aware that at first you mate still have employees forgetting to clock out and they will then be clocked for an extra long work day when they are clocked out at the end of the work day automatically.
