can I restrict an employee from adding certain services in the itemized payment setting?

Hi! I have an independent contractor who is only performing certain services at my business and is not authorized to do other services (ex: waxing but no facials). I went through and checked the services she offers and does not offer in my menu as a provider option, so I got that done, but when she is checking out a client, she is still able to edit and add things onto her transaction that aren't things she offers.. How can I still give her access to checkout customers WITHOUT being able to add on services that she is not authorized to perform? Conversly, if she has a client who booked a leg wax, and wanted to add an underarm wax to her service appointment (which are both services she does), how do I set things so she can she still ONLY add on any services to the booking before checkout that she is authorized to do? It seems like it should be an option in the itemized payment setting, but I don't see how to authorize select specific service options and block her from adding unauthorized service options in the checkout process (square appointments). If this is a feature, where is it? If not, is there a workaround? Thanks in advance! 🙂

Hey @OlyEsty thanks for reaching out. This is a great question, I am not sure with Team Management and Appointments you are able to limit the permissions like this. I am reaching out to our Appointments Team to double-check because that certainly would be useful to have. I will let you know as soon as I have some more information. Thank you!

The Appointments Team confirmed this would be a feature request. I would submit a request on our Ideate Board under Team Management and our Product Team will monitor the request from there. Please make sure to provide as much detail as possible about your business need for this request. If you know other sellers interested in the request make sure to have them add their input so our team can see the importance of this feature. Please note a submission to the Ideate Board does not mean this feature will be implemented, but I do certainly need for this and I am sure other businesses would as well.
