Square Payroll App discontinued?

I'm having problems with my square payroll app. I deleted it to reinstall it per the troubleshooting protocol, but now I can reinstall it and it appears the app has been discontinued.

Has the Square Payroll App for Android been discontinued? If so, is there a replacement?

I’m having the same problem with the iPhone version. I deleted it two days ago because it wasn’t loading and now it is not available to re-download on the App Store.

Hello @bl20 @kprez , the Square Team app now includes all mobile Payroll features that existed on the Payroll app for employers. If you haven’t already, please download or update the Square Team app to continue using Payroll features on mobile. As of September 19, 2023 the Square Payroll app for employers will no longer be available.

Hi @bl20 @kprez ,

The mobile Payroll features migrated to the Team app. It has not rolled out to 100% of sellers yet, but please download the Square Team app as the next update will include Payroll features.

In the meantime, if you do not see Payroll features in the Team app, we suggest using your mobile browser instead of the Payroll app. Keep an eye out for an email in the next week announcing Payroll features in the Team app.
