How do I change my filing from annually to quarterly?

There is no option to edit my filing from annually to quarterly. I assumed this was because I was past the first quarter when I first looked into it last year, but I'd like to change it to quarterly for 2024 and don't see how to do it.

Usually, as far as I am aware, the department of taxation for your state would notify you of a change from quarterly to annual depending on the amount of sales tax that you collect. I could be wrong though.

You'll want to check out your state's tax requirements, @LRM280 - like @Minion mentioned, this wouldn't be a setting within Square, but rather something you might want to follow up with your accountant as well.

Hi @LRM280,
To update your federal (IRS) filing frequency from annual (Form 944) to quarterly (Form 941), you would need to contact the Square support team. They will request a copy of the letter you received and update on your behalf. At this time, the federal filing frequency cannot be update in Dashboard. This also applies to changes in state filing frequencies. Hope this helps!
