Unreasonable demand?

I’m new to square. I am the treasure of a not for profit small sporting club.

square has blocked payments till we provide information from our club president who is 92 years old and is currently in hospital following a fractured hip and subsequent surgery and is unlikely to return for some time.

exceptionally frustrating and we may not continue with square

Hi @TP5 , welcome to the square community. Without knowing what kind of information Square is requesting, and only assuming it's some type of verification purposes, I'm not sure that I understand what the issue is here?

I hope your president has a speedy recovery, but Square does not know the status of every business owner and what they may be going through in their personal lives

Let us know what information they are requesting, and we can possibly give you solutions or recommendations.

Hi @TP5 I can understand this might be frustrating, but lot of these requirements might be legal requirements that square might have to abide by, to add what @Minion said, without understanding what kind of information square is requesting, its hard for anyone to comment here. Not sure if you have an account/sales rep, but if you do try giving them a call they might help you navigate this better.
