PST and GST issue

Got my taxes working finally but when Square online store does a receipt for the customer, it shows the PST as the same as GST. GST is 5 percent and PST in BC is 5 percent. It shows the same value for both. They add up to 12 percent but it's showing as an even split.. Not good. See picture. Can this be fixed?

I want to Separate taxes for some of my items.

I cannot separate GST and PST for some of my items. It is a headache and should be fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you for posting your question in the Community.

Just to get some more clarification on what you're seeing from this tax rate - the overall tax is correct, but it's showing 12% evenly instead of showing the taxes as 7% and 5%, correct?

Does the transaction allow you to manually edit them at all?

Correct it shows GST as the same as PST but together they add up to 12 percent

GST is 5 percent, PST is 7 percent but as you can see on the screenshot, they are showing as equal

No you cannot edit

From what you're describing and shown me - it sounds like a bug of some sort. I am going to recommend contacting our CS Team directly.

They will be able to get detailed information to pass along to our engineers, so they can get to the root of this.
